Jeremiah has been in practice for over 38 years in the field of public utility and energy law.  Jeremiah's numerous credits include
  • Successful organization and leadership of a long-term effort before the Missouri Public Service Commission, the Missouri court system and Missouri's General Assembly to expand the toll-free calling scopes of metropolitan areas in Missouri.
  • A number of precedent setting decisions in regulatory and public utility law.
  • Preservation of district steam heat service in Kansas City, Missouri.
  • Representation of the State of Missouri in Federal energy regulatory. matters and Federal transportation matters in numerous matters including the retention of passenger train service between Kansas City and St. Louis.
  • Representation of businesses, business associations and political subdivisions before utility and transportation regulatory commissions, the courts and legislatures since 1973.
  • A recognized expert in the field of municipal and public water supply district law

Jeremiah served as General Counsel to the Missouri Public Service Commission from 1965 through 1973 and as Missouri Assistant Attorney General from 1963 through 1965.  Jeremiah taught as Professor of Real Property Law at the University of Missouri-Columbia during 1964 and 1965 and has held a license as a Missouri real estate broker since 1960.

Jeremiah earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri in 1963 where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and served as Revising Editor of the Missouri Law Review in 1963-1963.  Jeremiah is a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.  Jeremiah is a member of the Missouri Bar; and the Bars of the Federal District Court for the Western District of Missouri; the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the United States Supreme Court.
